The societies of journalism strengthen the resistance to misinformation, corruption and authoritarianism. It is necessary to perform the ambience in which journalists can perform their job freely, responsibly and without fear.
In the time of independent media, the targets of political pressures, threats and economic blackmail, the obligation of institutions is to protect the right to the freely informing and dignity of the journalistic profession. The struggle for free media is a struggle for truth, justice and public good, ie an important struggle for democratic and free Bosnia and Herzegovina, as an integral part of modern Europe.
Bosnia and Herzegovina needs brave, free and responsible media. That is why support for the development of independent journalism will remain a permanent obligation of all responsible social and political actors.
