In an interview with MozzartSport, Baždar talked about going to Zaragoza, Belgrade’s Partizan, Novi Pazar.
The mentioned portal writes that Samed could not talk about the A selection of BiH because of the code.
Samed says that the goal of his Zaragoza is to return to the Spanish Primera.
“People are similar to us. I fit into their regimen and lifestyle. First of all, I think about what I’m there for, which is football, and then everything else. Before I left, I knew they had a history, that they were a big Spanish club.
They played in the Primera for a long time, but now they have pretty much stayed in the Segunda. When they presented the plans to me, they pointed out that they had changed a lot of things for the better organizationally and that the goal is to return to Primera as soon as possible”, says Baždar and adds that the fans really want to return to Primera:
“Of course the fans want more. There are also whistles, but the stadium is always full. Win or lose, our supporters are always there. They are there for both applause and criticism, which makes me happy. It’s a big city that loves football. From a child to an elderly man – everyone lives for football”.
He commented and they say that Valladolid and Sevilla are interested in him.
“Basically, it’s always impressive when you hear that someone is interested, but a lot of things need to come together to make a transfer happen. We all dream of being in a big club. I’m guided by the thought that I went where I was supposed to go. If it was supposed to be different, it would have happened. I went to Zaragoza and it’s great there. I try to play as well as possible, to score goals and assist.
I’m not stressing, everything will come when the time is right. I’m going step by step, I hope it’s a path I’m supposed to take, which is destined for me. I wouldn’t talk about the current interest of the clubs, but it means to me that they follow and value what I do. Nothing changes, it’s up to me to keep working even better and stronger, so we’ll see.”
Baždar also responded to the statement that during his time in Partizan, foreign players covered more offensive positions where he would feel comfortable.
“It’s Partizan. We know that in the past, we often did not agree with foreigners, who certainly had large contracts and from whom much was expected. In Partizan, a 17-year-old child is expected to bring dominance, not a foreigner who knows where he played and what kind of career he had.
There is certainly a lot of pressure, huge pressure, especially since Partizan, along with Crvena zvezda, is the biggest club in this area. I wouldn’t comment specifically, it’s up to the people in the club. It is their job, they are responsible for those they brought. You should congratulate when they hit, but also criticize when they don’t”.
He also revealed that he would like to finish his career in his native Novi Pazar.
“When I’m with my friends, that story gets around. Why not, this is my city. Primarily, I hope to play at the highest level for a long time, but in the subconscious, it certainly exists as an idea. A living example is in the gym, next to me. Adem Ljajić brought the city to its feet with his arrival.
No one expected it, we were all delighted with that move. He came at a time when there was still a lot of top football in front of him. He provides incredible games and now, he is the best player in the Superliga,” Baždar told MozzartSport.
