Barcelona finally returns to his legendary Camp Nou – although with a reduced capacity and still unfinished works.
The renovation of the largest stadium in Europe began at the end of the season 2022/23, and due to the volume of the works, the Catalan club played domestic matches at the Lluís Companys Stadium (Montjuïc).
However, despite the uncertainty on the eve of the beginning of the new season, the fans are processed by the positive news.
The city authorities and the club have reached a deal: Barcelona can return to Camp Nou, but with a temporary capacity limit – only 27,000 places will be available, much less than the stadium does not pass all safety controls and does not receive the necessary permits.
He is still not specified when the return will be officially realized, but the first match could be already on Saturday, when a friendly game for the Joan Gamper is planned.
The first league game on the renovated stadium is expected 14. September against Valencia, within the fourth LA League.
