Barcelona found an unusual way to keep Olmo

The management of La Liga recently banned Barcelona from registering new players, by passing new provisions on the issue of financial fair play.

La Liga tightened the criteria for spending money on transfers and salaries of footballers, and thus Barcelona ran into a problem with the registration of Dani Olmo, which is valid until the end of the year.

According to the current situation, Olmo will not be able to play for Barcelona in 2025, but according to the latest information from the newspapers “Mundo Deportivo” and “Sport”, the Catalans have found a solution.

Namely, “Blaugrana” found a way to earn 120 million euros in four days, by selling out seats in the VIP box of the new, reconstructed “Camp Nou” stadium, for a longer period of time.

In this way, the collective will quickly increase its income, and thus enable new expenditures that will not conflict with financial fair play.

It remains to be seen whether Barcelona’s plan will “work” and whether they will really earn such a large amount of money in four days.

The Spaniard is considered an important member of Flick’s team, and after the possibility of him leaving Spain opened, Arsenal immediately appeared interested in his signature. However, it seems that everything will remain only in the attempt.

This season, the offensive midfielder played 15 games and scored six goals with one assist. He was paid 55 million euros last summer to RB Leipzig, “SportAM” reports.
