Banks expect an increase in the demand of companies and the population for loans

Demand companies for loans continued to grow in the first quarter of this year. The net result of the bank’s response indicates that several banks reported that there was an increase in demand for short-term than for long-term loans.

Based on the collected response from the survey, the credit standards for the approval of corporate loans will be mitigated in the second quarter of this year, as well as to increase the demand for the short term and / or loan lines in the second quarter of this year.

When it comes to loans to the population, in the first quarter of this year, compared to the previous quarter, there was a growth in the demand for the residential, as well as consumer and unintended loans.

The collected answers are evident that banks expect that credit standards for the approval of housing loans would be mitigated in the second quarter of this year. Banks have an optimistic view of loans demand, so demand is expected in the second quarter of this year.

A total of eight banks surveyed in this circle, and the response rate on the survey was one hundred percent.
