According to the BHRT Reporter, the new provisions of the new Constitution reported, and that is to be introduced to the self-determination, and to abolish the citizenship of BiH, and the citizenship of RS remains.
In addition, there is a provision that the RS Ambassadors are appointed by the President of RS, not a member of the Presidency of BiH as it is currently defined.
It is previously known that the new Constitution envisions that the Republika Srpska decides on its powers and has the right to come out from the BiH-level agreement. All laws from the level of BiH relating to RS will have to be confirmed in the RS National Assembly before their application. The new Constitution provides for the possibility of forming the RS Army.
The new Constitution is deleted by the provisions on the People’s Council, the Vice Presidents of the RS and the Government composition from the ranks of constitutive peoples. The establishment of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of RS is also envisaged.
