It has been confirmed that 37 more people were injured after night attacks on residential areas in the city, including a dozen children, Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko wrote on Telegram.
Rescuers pulled people out of destroyed apartments in two nine-story residential buildings. People are still buried under the rubble, Klimenko said.
Pictures released by the ministry show serious damage to buildings. During the night, there were also massive Russian attacks in the eastern Kharkiv region, in which more than 30 people were injured.

Ukrainian air defenses counted a total of 442 attacks by Russian drones and more than 40 attacks by cruise missiles.
Ukraine, with Western help, has been fighting to repel a full-scale Russian invasion for more than three and a half years.
