And an officer of the Judicial Police in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Judicial Police Center in Tuzla Canton, participated in the procedure to prevent the commission of a criminal offense that took place on 11/19/2025. around 7:35 a.m. in the Kalesija municipality.
Since the execution of the criminal offense was in the immediate vicinity of the building of the Municipal Court in Kalesija, and on that occasion firearms were used, the officer of the Judicial Police, together with the police officers of the Police Directorate of the MUP of the TK, intervened against the persons who committed the criminal offense and, with the use of firearms, undertook activities to prevent further illegal actions by several persons.
Considering the circumstances of the event and the fact that the Judicial Police officer happened to be at the scene of the commission of a criminal offense that could have dangerous consequences for the life and health of citizens, he applied the powers and means of coercion in accordance with Article 71, paragraph (8) of the Law on Judicial Police in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton was informed about the aforementioned, which together with the competent police authorities is undertaking activities to document the event and prosecute the responsible perpetrators.
This kind of action by the Judicial Police officers represents another positive example of honorable, professional and expert execution of work, which strengthens the sense of security and confidence of citizens in the work of the Judicial Police, announced the Judicial Police of FBiH.
