This is the first visit of the Divald Brčko District Ambassador since he entered his duty on 22. Augusta last year, the Government of Brcko District was announced.
During the meeting, the Mayor Milić pointed out the importance of such visits to strengthen friendly relations and improving cooperation between the Brčko District and the Republic of Austria in the areas of economics, culture, infrastructure and international relations.
He expressed his readiness to continue the activities that will contribute to the connection between the two sides and improving the lives of the Brčko District, which, as he stressed, a good example of all nations living in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On this occasion, Ambassador Divald expressed satisfaction with his first visit to the Brčko District and emphasized the readiness of Austria to support and strengthen cooperation in various areas, especially in the field of culture and economic development. He also pointed out that he would direct his work to direct on the processes that would lead to membership in the European Union.
