All thermal power plants in Ukraine have stopped producing electricity due to Russian strikes, the state energy company “Centrenergo” announced.
The company states that the attack was the worst since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, and that all the restored power plants were destroyed again.
“Energy production is now at zero. Zero! Everything that we restored through continuous work – has been completely wiped out,” says the company, which announces the urgent restoration and integration of new capacities, writes Ukrainska pravda.
The attack led to massive power outages across the country, leaving millions of Ukrainians without power.
The authorities are working on emergency measures to ensure the supply of critical facilities and residential buildings, while “Centrenergo” is preparing for the rapid restoration of thermal power plants.
According to the latest information, as far as the battle on the front lines is concerned, the situation for the Ukrainians is still very difficult in the eastern part of the country, where there are fierce battles for Pokrovsk and some other nearby areas where their forces are surrounded and semi-surrounded by Russian formations.
