“Our armed forces every minute and every day stands in the guard’s interest and security of our state. We will follow and continue to follow the possible sources of threats,” Ali told the visit to Kalbajar.
He added that Azerbaijan from the end of the second Karabaški war 2020 expanded military capacities, increased the number of special units and formed new commandos.
Modern drones, artillery systems and modernized combat planes were procured, and contracts for new hunters were signed.
“We must always be ready for war, because the course of global events seem impossible to predict what will happen tomorrow,” Ali’s pointed out.
“If anyone thinks that he commits a provocation against Azerbaijan, he will repent again. From now on, we will live as a winning nation and a winning state.”
Speaking of regional connectivity, Alius said that one of the transport corridors will pass through Armenia, connecting Azerbaijan with Exclusion of Nakhchivan.
“Our position was always the basis in the development of the Peace Agreement with Armenia. Armenia has already taken this obligation, and I will be able to travel in the coming years to the main part of Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan,” he said.
He added that the route will connect not only the territories of Azerbaijan, but also serve as an international transport corridor.
“The construction of the railway to Zangilan continues successfully and is likely to be completed next year. Armenia also took this obligation, which is another historical achievement for us.”
