Ante Ćorić (28) is no longer a player of Hamrun Spartans, the club confirmed on its social networks. The Maltese champion emphasized that the agreement was terminated after five months of cooperation.
Hamrun Spartans and Ante Corić have mutually decided to terminate the contract. The club sincerely thanks Anta for his professionalism, dedication and valuable contribution during his time at Hamrun Spartans and wishes him every success in the next chapter of his career.it is stated in the club press release.
Ćorić arrived in Malta last summer
Ćorić decided this summer, after recovering from an injury revive his career in Malta. He played 22 games in all competitions and scored two goals.
One of them scored in a 3:1 win over Lincoln in the Conference League. That triumph was historic because it was the first victory of a Maltese club in the league/group phase of a European competition.

Before coming to Malta, Ćorić left Varaždin in January 2025, for which he played only three games. He did not score a goal or assist. In SuperSport HNL, he played against Dinamo and Slaven after coming off the bench, and he also played four minutes in the SuperSport Croatian Cup, writes Index.hr.
He has been unable to get in shape for years
The season before last, Ćorić played for Rudeš, arguably the worst team in the Croatian championship. After the relegation of Rudeš, he found his home in Varaždin.
Ten years ago, Ćorić was known as one of the the greatest talents of Croatian football. He played for Dinamo and made three appearances for the Croatian national team.
It was then sold in Rome for six million euros. He only appeared three times for the Roman club, which sent him out on loan in the hope that he would find form.
This did not happen and after the contract expired he became free agentand then came the arrival in Rudeš. Since leaving Dinamo, he has never scored more than one goal in a season. He made 143 appearances for the Blues and scored 23 goals.
