The president of HKUD “Don Ivan Trobentar”, Aco Posavljak, emphasized the importance of preserving the cultural heritage, traditions and customs of the Croatian people through song, dance and joint gatherings.
He emphasized that for many years the society has lovingly and devotedly cherished the values they inherited from their ancestors.
He particularly emphasized the importance of unity, mutual connection and cooperation within the Croatian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He thanked everyone who gave new strength and motivation for the continuation of the work and activity of the society with their arrival and support.
Archbishop of Vrhbosna and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Msgr. Tomo Vukšić, said that a manifestation like this has a deep meaning because it symbolizes friendship, togetherness and cooperation.
In his address, he invoked God’s blessing on all those gathered, their families, friends, the Croatian people and all the people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, praying that “the King of peace will bring peace, first of all to human hearts, and then to the whole society”.
The event “Advent on the Pillar” has confirmed its permanent value as a place of gathering and connecting people, strengthening solidarity and preserving cultural and national identity.
The event once again showed how important it is in nurturing the faith, unity and tradition of the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Last night, the president of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, also attended the event.
