The event was attended by residents of Ljubinje, as well as guests from Mostar, Sarajevo and Dubrovnik. Among those present were the president of the Majlis of the Islamic community Stolac Orhan Tikveša, the chief imam Merced ef. Šabanović, general secretary of Merhamet Sidik Aždahić and director of the Regional Board of Merhamet Mostar Adnin Hasić.
Iftar in Ljubinje was also supported by partner organizations, including Helping Hand from the United States of America, the humanitarian organization Milost from Norway, and local citizens who help the Ramadan activities of Merhamet Mostar with their contributions.
After the evening prayer, the host Tahir Taslaman addressed the audience, stressing the importance of holding a joint iftar in Ljubinje and thanking Merhamet for his continuous support.
On the occasion of the event, the president of the Majlis of the Stolac Islamic Community, Orhan Tikveša, presented a certificate of thanks to the Regional Board of Merhamet Mostar for its contribution to the community and humanitarian engagement.
