Bad news for the basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina arrived today from Zadar. Amar Gegić was injured.
“After a thorough medical examination and two expert medical opinions, the last of which was obtained on January 14, it was determined that Amar Gegić has cumulative chronic heel disease, which is why he must undergo an open surgical procedure.
This means that Gegić will be away from the basketball court at least until the end of the current competitive season. The club will inform the public about further steps in a timely manner,” stated the announcement of KK Zadar.
Thus, Gegić will miss the key Eurobasket qualifiers with Bosnia and Herzegovina, which await our selection in February against Cyprus and France.
