A protocol of cooperation between the Municipality of Trnovo and “Buroj Property Development” company from the United Arab Emirates has been signed today in Sarajevo.
A protocol envisages the construction of an integrated tourist city “Buroj Ozone” in the municipality of Trnovo.
Integrated tourist city “Buroj Ozone” will contain thousands of housing units, hotels, shopping centers, as well as all other social infrastructure.
The total value of this project is, as stated, around 4.5 billion KM (around 2.3 billion Euros).
Mayor of Trnovo, Ibro Berilo, said this tourist complex, given its size and value of investment, represents the largest project of its kind in South East Europe and beyond.
Ismail Ahmed, director of “Buroj”, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between this company and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and pointed out that the signing of this protocol is only the first step towards building a partnership.
He explained that “Buroj Property Development” is a leading company for urban development and is committed to becoming a strong partner to BiH in the development of Bosnian enormous tourism potential.
He has stressed that “Buroj Ozone” will be the largest project of its kind in the region and beyond.
