The final division was held today in Bihać, where 400 packages with basic living foods and meat were presented.
– We started the final part of the division of Ramazan packages here in Bihać. We will divide 400 family packages, and the value of each is about 150 km. The most important foods in packages are meat (7 kg), oil, flour, sugar, salt and other basic necessities – said President Merhamet Bihac Fikret Draganovic at the beginning of the division.
During this humanitarian action, the division was organized in all the municipalities of the Una-Sana Canton, with each local community of 100 packages. A total of 1,100 family packages were distributed with a total value of 150,000 KM.
– We realized this action thanks to the donations of citizens and businessmen, as well as the support of the Canadian-Bosnian Association from Toronto and Bosnian clubs in the diaspora, which I sincerely thank me. We believe that these humanitarian actions, at least partially, improved the social picture of the Una-Sana Canton – Draganovic added.
Merhamet Bihać continues with the activities of assistance to socially vulnerable citizens, through the preparation of the division of Bajramic packages and collectors of Kurban meat for the needs of the National Kitchens.
