It is one of the largest events that Turkey organizes for children abroad, which has gathered about 5,500 primary school students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina learning Turkish as a second foreign language.
The program participated in numerous guests, among whom were representatives of Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Chairman of the Assembly of Huskić, Minister of Education, Science, Minister of Economy Samir Šibonjić, and the manifestation was also attended by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Turkey.
– I am happy that our Canton and Zenica hosted students who learn Turkish language from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina as his center. We are especially happy that our Zenica hosts this event for years, which says about us, our identity and hospitality – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey at the “Great Organization of Events”. He said that cooperation in other segments, especially the economy, which received the new dimension last year’s ZEPS, was also rejoiced, whose Republic of Turkey was the general partner. He stated that he expects that “we will raise the ladder in October at the Senior level in October and further strengthen our economic cooperation.”
During the festival, the little ones had the opportunity to meet the riches of folklore of both countries. At the end of the program, a special concert organized Amel Ćurić.
At this event, which also supports the Embassy of the Turkish Republic in Sarajevo, awards for students who have won first places in various competitions organized by Yunus Emre Institute during the year.
