The family Vilušić she addressed the media regarding the continuation of the murder trial Saša Vilušićthe tragedy that deeply shook the city of Tuzla and the general public during the summer of last year.
– We lost a member of our family in a cruel, cruel and deliberate way, a man who left behind three minor children. Our pain and sorrow are immeasurable. We cannot bring Sasha back, but we can and must demand justice – that the perpetrator of this crime receives the maximum sentence for the loss of a human life. We believe that it is extremely important for this case to send a clear message to all those who think that through violence they can take fate into their own hands, hit, inflict pain and forcefully decide on other people’s lives. This is precisely why we publicly demand the strictest punishment for the crime committed – the family’s statement states.
On Monday, February 23, the fourth hearing was scheduled before the Cantonal Court in Tuzla, starting at 09:00.
The Vilušić family points out that this hearing is of particular importance because it is planned to hear experts from the medical profession, namely: dr. Zdenko Cirklažspecialist in forensic medicine and permanent forensic medical expert, dr. Here Tucoa specialist in forensic medicine and a permanent court expert in the field of medical expertise, as well as an expert in the field of video surveillance.
– Their findings and opinions represent one of the key pieces of evidence in the further course of court proceedings. We ask the media to be with us until the end of this process, in our fight for justice, because someone decided to end a human life by force.
