The Supreme Court of FBiH, deciding in the appeal proceedings in the criminal case against the accused Selmin Ibrahimović, for the criminal offense of Murder, in connection with the criminal offense of Unauthorized acquisition, possession and sale of weapons and essential parts for weapons and Unauthorized acquisition, possession and sale of ammunition, made a decision rejecting the appeal of the defense attorney of the accused as unfounded, therefore the judgment of the Cantonal Court in Tuzla in the part in which the accused was sentenced to a single prison sentence of 19 years and 6 months, confirms.
Due to the appeal, ex officio, the judgment of the Cantonal Court in Tuzla in the decision on crediting custody is changed, so that the time spent in custody starting from 04/15/2024 should be included in the single prison sentence imposed on the accused. year, until sent to serve the sentence. The rest of the first-instance judgment remains unchanged.
By the verdict of the Cantonal Court in Tuzla, the accused was found guilty of having on 15.4.2024. year, at around 11 p.m., in the Koksara neighborhood near Lukavac, he came to the building where AM lived, with whom he had previously had a verbal argument, and from a stolen pistol that he possessed without authorization, he first struck several blows in the head area with the damaged pistol, and then fired one bullet into the victim’s head from close range and killed him. The court sentenced the accused to a single prison sentence of 19 years and 6 months.
