The body of a man was found this morning in front of a building in Kruševac, and not long after that, two more bodies were found in an apartment in the same building. It is suspected to be a double murder and suicide, and the police are determining all the circumstances of this case.
According to the first unofficial information from the investigation, reports Nova.rs, a younger man committed a double murder in the family apartment, by killing his parents with a knife, after which he committed suicide by jumping from the building. The case was discovered after neighbors reported that there was a lifeless body of a man on the sidewalk in front of the apartment building. When the police and ambulance arrived at the scene, death was confirmed, and an even greater shock soon followed.
Upon entering the apartment where the man lived with his parents, members of the police found a terrible scene.
The bodies of the father and mother were found with numerous stab wounds in the torso and neck area.
The investigation at the scene lasted for hours, and the police, according to information, found the knife with which the crime was most likely committed.
“The scene was gruesome. A cold weapon with traces of blood was found at the scene of the crime, which was sent for expert examination,” said a source close to the investigation.
Although murder and suicide are suspected, the official motive for this act has not yet been established. Neighbors are in a state of shock and state that nothing pointed to this outcome, while the police are checking whether there were previous reports of violence in this family or whether the perpetrator had a history of psychological problems.
The bodies of the victims were transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, which will confirm the exact cause of death of all participants in this tragedy.
