The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not responded to the Inquiry of the Detector on Criminal Report, which was filed against Milorad Dodik, President of the Republika Srpska, for false reporting and giving gifts or other forms of use.

Director of Transparency International in BiH Ivana Korajlić says that the Prosecution does not prevent anything in which the stage is the subject, and the practice of submitting information to this judicial institution is called selective.

“And we have noticed on the basis of the applications that we submitted for different items that are underway that the Prosecution, is generally not submitted by this information even in which it is a stage that it may endanger”, clarifying Korajlić.

The State Prosecution Public Relations Office earlier for the detector that the media would suit the media on Friday after 13 hours, as they brought the binding instruction for the publication of prosecutorial acts and other information. However, in this case they did not comply with that.

Judge Uzunović brought a non-judicial judgment, which Dodik was sentenced to one year in prison and six years of commission of the president for non-compliance with the High Representative’s decisions.

Dodik was found guilty that from 1. to 9. July 2023. In Banja Luka, the High Representative of Christian Schmidt made the decision of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Laws and other RS regulations, undertaken the actions with the purpose of continuing Legislative proceedings, not applying and not implementing the High Representative’s decisions.

Due to the threat of Uzunović after the first instance verdict, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) was arrested by the Mark of Plavsic and Ljuban Jukić. They were then identified by one-month custody.

Adna Dobojlić lawyer explains that each procedure has more phases and that deadlines flow only when the investigation is officially opened. It considers that there should be no difference in the treatment in relation to who submitted the application.

“Well, it is not important who reported, or filed a criminal charges, whether it was a state official and a citizen, it must be treated equally,” she says.

Announcement of the second instance verdict against Dodik is expected soon.
