The Paris Stock Exchange recorded a new historical record yesterday, as its main index CAC 40 reached the level of 8,280.97 points, with a growth of 1.34 percent until 16:20.
The growth of the market in Paris reflects a combination of positive sentiment on world stock markets and more favorable macroeconomic prospects in the Eurozone, reports Figaro.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index and Britain’s FTSE 100 also hit records, while Germany’s DAX rose 1.3 percent to 24,395 points, its highest level in two weeks. EuroStoxx 50 strengthened by 1.1 percent.
