In the third quarter of 2025, residential real estate prices, as measured by the Residential Real Estate Price Index, increased by 5.1 percent in the Eurozone and by 5.5 percent in the European Union compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
Compared to the second quarter of 2025, residential real estate prices increased by 1.6 percent in both the Eurozone and the European Union, the European Statistics Office announced.
Among the Member States for which data are available, one country recorded an annual decline in residential real estate prices in the third quarter of 2025, while twenty-five countries recorded an annual increase.
The decline was registered in Finland (3.1 percent), while the highest growth was recorded in Hungary (21.1 percent), Portugal (17.7 percent) and Bulgaria (15.4 percent).
Compared to the previous quarter, prices fell in five Member States and rose in twenty-one Member States.
The largest decline was recorded in Luxembourg (3.1 percent), Finland (2.2 percent) and Slovenia (1.1 percent), while the largest growth was achieved in Latvia (5.2 percent), Slovakia (4.9 percent) and Portugal (4.1 percent).
