The Development Bank of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the winner of the special award “VISION 100” for supporting the economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina during 2024 and 2025.
The recognition was awarded last night in Sarajevo, at the “100 largest in BiH” event, which for the 38th year in a row brings together the most successful companies and institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by Poslovni novini.
The special recognition “VISION 100” is awarded to institutions and companies that, through their work and contribution, achieve exceptional results in the domestic economy – through development initiatives, innovations and support to the business community.
The President of the Management Board, Mr. Borislav Trlin, accepted the award on behalf of the Bank, who pointed out that the award belongs to all employees of the Development Bank of the Federation of BiH, whose dedicated work and expertise enable the bank to be a reliable partner to the economy. He added that the “Vision 100” recognition confirms that the bank makes a real contribution to the growth and stability of the economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through development programs and cooperation with businessmen.
Poslovne novine is also the organizer of “100 EXPO” – an international business fair and conference, which takes place on October 21 and 22 in Sarajevo, and gathers market leaders, innovative companies and institutions that create new business opportunities.
The “Invest in BiH” panel was held as part of the said fair, where Lejla Kapur, Director of the Credit Sector of the Development Bank of the Federation of BiH, presented the ways in which the bank through various programs and instruments supports domestic businessmen in the implementation of investment plans. Kapur emphasized that the Development Bank of FBiH provides a comprehensive range of financial instruments adapted to all stages of business – from small businesses to large infrastructure projects. In addition to traditional credit lines, special lines for strategic sectors have been developed in cooperation with relevant ministries, which enable favorable financing conditions and additional support for businessmen.
Speaking about European integration and business adaptation to European standards, Kapur pointed out that the bank continuously develops cooperation with development banks in the region, exchanging information and best practices, especially from EU member states, in order to harmonize business with European standards in advance. In addition to regional cooperation, the bank also develops partnership relations with the European Association of Development Banks and the Development Bank of the Council of Europe, through projects that enable additional sources of financing and support for development initiatives in the country. In this way, the Development Bank of FBiH strengthens its role as a bridge between the domestic economy and international development flows, confirming its position as a stable and reliable partner to businessmen throughout the Federation.
At the prestigious “100 EXPO” fair, the bank is also present with a promotional area, where current credit lines and support programs are presented to visitors and potential partners, with the possibility of direct communication with the Bank’s expert team.
