For the third year in a row, the City of Konjic, on the occasion of the City Day on June 16, awards the most successful students who, based on the exceptional results they achieve in their academic education, have fulfilled the conditions of the public invitation of the Konjic City Administration to award one-time financial awards in the amount of 1500 KM.
– Year after year, the number of successful young people increases, this year there are 34 of them to the satisfaction of both us from the City Administration and our academic community. I congratulate the students on their success, and of course also their parents and professors, with the wish that there will be more such successes in the future. We want the successes of our young people from Konjic to continue in the coming years, to expand their knowledge and perspectives, and for their acquired knowledge to be useful for our city Konjic, but also for our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina – said Mayor Ćatić, who talked to young people from Konjic about their successes, wishes and plans for the future.
Jasmina Lepara, a sixth-year student at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sarajevo, said after the reception: “It is an honor to receive an award for the success I achieved during my studies for an average above 9.0 without renewing my years. I am happy and honored by this recognition, which for me is a confirmation of many years of work, effort, investment and sacrifice, which the mayor of Konjic recognized and rewarded.”
Nedim Džajić, a second-year master’s student in Computing and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, and Ilma Sultić, a second-year student at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo, emphasizing that the year behind them is full of challenges and successes, thanked the City of Konjic and the mayor for the awards, reminding them that their successes and the successes of other young Konjic residents are regularly monitored and rewarded by the Konjic City Administration, which motivates them to continue to work hard.
