The collective of JZU “Zdravstveni centar” Brčko strongly condemned the burning of the car of their employee Renata Domić, which happened early this morning in the EŠ settlement in Brča.
“We are taken aback and deeply disturbed by the news of last night’s event in which the private vehicle of our respected colleague was set on fire. In front of the entire collective, we condemn this act of violence and vandalism in the strongest terms. An attack on the property of any healthcare worker, who dedicate their life’s calling to caring for others, represents a direct attack on the dignity of the profession and the safety of all of us,” the collective’s announcement on social networks states.
It is added that colleagues Domić provide full support and stand by her in these difficult moments.
“We believe that the competent institutions will react quickly, identify the perpetrators and adequately sanction them in order to send a clear message that there is no place for violence in our city,” said the JZU “Zdravstveni centar”.
Fena learns that Renata Domić is the wife of the current Deputy Mayor of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ante Domić.
The Police of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed that immediately after the report, police officers were sent to the scene of the incident and collected information about the incident, and members of the Professional Fire Department were also informed of everything.
“Police officers secured the scene of the incident for the purpose of investigation, and under the supervision of the duty prosecutor of the Brčko District Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they are taking measures and actions to determine all the circumstances under which the said event took place,” said Brčko District Police spokesperson Dževida Hukičević.
