Spanish banking Div Santander recorded a record net profit in the first half of 2025.
It increased by 13 percent compared to the previous year to 6.83 billion euros, which exceeded the predictions of analysts.

Santander also praised with eight million new clients, thus increased by the total number of clients around the world to 176 million. As a result, they recorded the growth of the deposit of four percent and increasing revenues from three percent commission, SEEbiz reports. The latter reached 6.68 billion euros.
These figures overshadowed the income income from the bank of three percent, which occurred due to lower interest rates in the eurozone.
