The occasion for the meeting was the systemic and lasting realization of the rehabilitation project in the water of children and persons with disabilities in the area of Sarajevo Canton.
It was concluded that the “Olympic Swimming pool” in cooperation with the competent urban services should make a framework concept and a proposal for activities to be considered by the City Council in order to initiate initiatives under the jurisdiction.
The possibility of educating volunteers (most often parents or guardians) was discussed, which in this way would have a lifelong training in the field of methodological work with children with difficulties, applicable in many life situations, not only specifically at (Olympic) pools.
The participants of the meeting are determined in the continuation of thematic meetings until the finding of adequate long-term and systemic solutions in which all levels of government will participate and the competent institution, the JP “Olympic Swimming pool is an island.
