On Wednesday, police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, with the consent of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton and acting according to the orders of the competent municipal courts, searched persons, passenger motor vehicles, and residential and other premises used by persons linked to the commission of criminal offenses at several locations in the area of Tuzla Canton.
During the search in the area of Gračanica, Živinice, Gradačac, Lukavac and Tuzla, at seven locations covered by the search, the following items were found and seized: a total of 10 (ten) pvc. packaging with the content of a white substance, which in its appearance is associated with the narcotic drug “Amphetamine Speed”, 20 (twenty) PVC. packaging with the content of a plant substance that is associated with the narcotic drug “Cannabis Sativa”, 1 (one) PVC package with the content of a pink substance that is associated with the narcotic drug, 428 (four hundred and twenty-eight) tablets of different colors and shapes that are associated with the narcotic drug “Extasy”, 6 (six) digital scales for precise measurement, money of different currencies and denominations, in the amount: 18,550.00 KM, 2,000$, 2,135.00 Euro, 1 “Blow” 9 mm pistol, 4 hand grenades, 13 pieces of pistol ammunition, 2 mobile devices, metal boxes with traces of plant and white matter, 3 crushers, tubes and test tubes with traces of substances that are associated with narcotic drugs, 2 PVC. bags containing seeds that are associated with the seeds of the narcotic drug Cannabis Sativa, as well as other items that are linked to the abuse of narcotic drugs, and which will be used in the evidentiary proceedings, announced the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of TK.
Temporarily confiscated materials that are subject to expert examination will be the subject of expert examination, and adequate reports with evidence will be submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton against all persons included in the aforementioned searches.
As part of the investigation, by order of the acting prosecutor, the liberty of three persons was taken away, namely: M.Đ. (1974) from Gračanica, AV (2001) from Živinice and EH (2000) from Gradačac, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed criminal offenses from Article 238, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, and the same will, after criminal investigation, be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton for further action.
