The body of a man was found this morning in a car on the Trijanga-Jahorina road in the municipality of Pale, the East Sarajevo Police Department announced. Miro Kalem, head of the GSS Jahorina, confirmed that this is a young man from Tuzla, Sead Jahić (27), who was being searched for since December 31, when he was last located in the wider area of Jahorina-Trebević at 7 p.m.
The search was carried out in cooperation with the Civil Protection Administration of the RS, and the GSS Jahorina, ATV club Pale and ATV club Šumski duh also participated.
The search was carried out in the three-border area of the municipalities of East Stari Grad, East Novo Sarajevo and Pale.
Jahić’s car was found at 10 a.m. today, and GSS East Stari Grad thanked everyone for their cooperation.
“Furthermore, the case was taken over by the police,” stated the GSS East Stari Grad.
It was previously announced by the MUP of Tuzla Canton that Jahić disappeared on December 31, when he was last located in the wider area of Jahorina-Trebević at 7:00 p.m.
According to information, he was not at the celebration, and according to family and friends, he was supposed to spend New Year’s Eve in Jahorina, where he had arranged to meet with the company.
A lifeless body was found in a car on the road Trijang – Jahorina
Police officers of the East Sarajevo Police Department, in the presence of the duty prosecutor of the East Sarajevo District Public Prosecutor’s Office, conducted an investigation at the scene where a “Suzuki” passenger car was found, containing the lifeless body of a man.
This morning at around 9:05 a.m. it was reported to the police administration that there was a passenger car with a lifeless body on the road between Trijang and Jahorina, Pale municipality. After the completion of the investigation, more information will be known, it was announced from the PU East Sarajevo.
