Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of the TK conducted searches at several locations in the area of Tuzla, Lukavac and Gračanica, where drugs were found, and five people were arrested.
Yesterday and the day before yesterday, members of the Department for the fight against the abuse of narcotic drugs, together with members of the Gračanica Police Department and with the assistance of the Special Support Police Unit of the Tuzla Canton MUP Police Department, conducted searches at several locations in the area of Tuzla, Lukavac and Gračanica, namely residential premises, vehicles and users of those facilities, as well as persons found in the facilities – the Police Department of the MUP TK announced.
During the searches, 14 PVC packages of speed, 16 PVC packages of marijuana, money in the total amount of 10,200 KM and 2,910 euros, four digital scales, three mobile phones, crushers, 20 pink tablets, a powdery pink substance, as well as other items related to the commission of criminal offenses in the field of narcotic drug abuse were found.
Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, DS (28) from Tuzla was arrested, who was found with 835.2 grams of speed and 45.5 grams of marijuana, DM (23) from Lukavac, who was found with 155.3 grams of marijuana, and Š. H. (45) from Gračanica, who was found with 1.402 grams of speed and 20 tablets of MDMA, as well as 1.3 grams of the drug MDMA.
Persons D. S, D. M, and Š. H., who were arrested, will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton after the criminal investigation, together with the report on the crime committed.
During the searches of the locations, searches were also carried out of the persons found in the buildings, namely SB (39), AM (36) and FH (29), all from Gračanica, who were also found with certain quantities of substances associated with drugs, and a report will be submitted against them, in the regular procedure, to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of TK for the criminal offense of possessing and facilitating the consumption of narcotic drugs.
˝Also, during the search of the premises, the persons for whom the central operational searches were announced were found, namely AM (35) and M. Dž. (26), previously convicted of the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, who were also arrested and handed over to the jurisdiction of the FBiH Judicial Police, announced the Police Administration of the MUP of TK.
