Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior, TK, are in the period from 22 to 24 December 2025. year, at several locations in the area of Tuzla Canton, searched persons, passenger motor vehicles, and residential and other premises used by persons linked to the commission of criminal acts. During the searches, about 14 kg of drugs were found, two people were arrested.
During the search in the area of Lukavac, Tuzla, Gračanica, Srebrenik, Banovića and Živinice, the following items were found and seized: a total of 16 PVCs. packaging containing a white substance that looks like a narcotic drug, 8 PVC. packaging with the content of plant matter that by its appearance is associated with narcotic drugs, three digital scales for precise measurement, 36 tablets that by their appearance are associated with narcotic drugs, a mobile phone, a certain amount of seeds that by their appearance are associated with the seeds of the narcotic drug “Cannabis”, a passenger motor vehicle that was used as a means of committing a criminal offense, and other items that can be linked to the abuse of narcotic drugs and other criminal acts. The preliminary weighing of the confiscated substances determined that the total amount was about 14.5 kilograms, of which over 10 kg of white matter, which looks like the narcotic drug “Amphetamine speed” and over 4 kilograms of plant matter, which looks like the narcotic drug “Cannabis”, announced the Police Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The confiscated materials will be the subject of an expert examination, and adequate reports with evidence will be submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton against the persons included in the aforementioned searches.
As part of the investigation, by order of the acting cantonal prosecutor, two persons were deprived of their liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they had committed a criminal offense from Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, and they were handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton for further action along with a Report on the committed criminal offense, while the third person included in the above-mentioned searches is already in custody on suspicion of committing the criminal offense Unauthorized production and putting into circulation narcotic drugs.
