Police officers of the Kladanj Police Department on Tuesday in Kladanj, after observing a person driving a “Golf” passenger motor vehicle committing violations and endangering other road users, stopped the said motor vehicle driven by a person from the Republic of Croatia, born in 1997 from Lukavac.
Due to the suspicion that he is in possession of illegal items, and on the basis of the order of the Municipal Court in Živinice and the consent of the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton, the action of searching the vehicle was started, in which a plant substance was found, which by its appearance is associated with narcotic drugs in a total amount of about 2160 grams and 60 euro banknotes in denominations of 50.
˝According to the instructions of the acting prosecutor of the Republic of Croatia, he was deprived of his freedom and after the criminal investigation, he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton for further proceedings due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he has committed a criminal offense under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs.
On Wednesday in Tuzla, the police officers of the Police Directorate of the MUP TK/Criminal Police Sector/Department for the fight against the abuse of narcotic drugs, with the assistance of the Police Unit for Special Support, acting according to the order of the Municipal Court in Tuzla and with the consent of the cantonal prosecutor on duty, carried out an official search of the house, auxiliary facilities and the yard of user AM, born in 1996 from Tuzla.
During the search, the following items were found: three packages containing a plant substance that looks like a narcotic drug, two packages containing a white substance that looks like a narcotic drug, a metal tray with a white substance that looks like a narcotic drug, a digital scale for precise measurement, a crusher and other items that are associated with the abuse of narcotic drugs. The found materials were confiscated and will be subject to hanging, stated the police administration of the MUP of TK.
By order of the prosecutor, the person AM was deprived of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, and the measures and actions provided for by law will be taken against him. Also, on the same day in Tuzla, a search of KB, born in 2007 from Lukavac, was carried out, during which three packages containing a white substance that looks like a narcotic drug and a lump of dried plant material that looks like a narcotic drug were found and temporarily confiscated.
In the coming period, the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, in accordance with the program goals and strategic determination, will carry out intensive activities to prevent and suppress the illegal production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, as well as other criminal acts, all with the aim of improving the safety of citizens and protecting the community from all forms of crime.
