On Thursday, police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton, Gradačac Police Department searched a passenger motor vehicle and the persons using the vehicle, namely MD (1985) from Brčko District and AG (2002) from Mionica, Gradačac, during which more than 2 kg of drugs were found and confiscated. The mentioned persons were arrested.
The following items were confiscated: 2 large rectangular PVC packages containing a white substance that is associated with the narcotic drug “Speed”, which was determined by preliminary weighing to be a substance with a total mass of over 2 kg, 1 PVC bag with the content of a herbal substance that is associated with the narcotic drug “Cannabis Sativa”, which was determined by a preliminary weighing to be a substance with a total mass of over 100 grams, as well as other items brought to the connection with the commission of criminal offences, it was announced from the Police Directorate of the MUP TK.
Substances associated with narcotic drugs, which were confiscated in this particular case, will be the subject of an expert examination for use in further evidentiary proceedings.
“According to the order of the cantonal prosecutor on duty, the persons MD and AG were deprived of their freedom due to suspicions that they have committed criminal offenses under Article 238 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs”, and they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton after criminal investigation, along with a report with evidence,” stated the Police Administration of the MUp of TK.
