Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, TK, Criminal Police Sector (Department for the fight against the abuse of narcotic drugs), with the assistance of the Special Support Police Unit and police officers of the West Police Station, arrested a person with the initials SS (1986) from Živinice on Friday in the Miladije settlement in Tuzla and seized a large amount of drugs and money.
˝In a moving vehicle, an SS (1986) person from Živinice (who was driving the vehicle in question) was spotted, for whom eight active searches by police and judicial authorities were announced (two of which were searches by the Zenica Penitentiary) in connection with the abuse and distribution of narcotic drugs, and they took all the necessary actions in order to stop the vehicle, identify the person in the vehicle and perform other official actions, on which occasion the SS ignored the orders of authorized officials to stopped the vehicle, and tried to drive away in the vehicle, after which, with the intervention of police officers, he was stopped and placed under control”, the Police Administration of the MUP of TK announced.
Acting on the order of the Municipal Court in Tuzla, a search was carried out of the SS and the person found in the vehicle, as well as the passenger motor vehicle used by the said person.
˝During the search, the following items were found and seized: 20 PVC packages containing a white substance that is associated with the narcotic drug “Speed” (which was determined by preliminary weighing to be a substance weighing about 1.5 kg), a total of 13 PVC. packaging with the content of a plant substance that, by its appearance, is associated with the narcotic drug “Cannabis Sativa” (which was determined by preliminary weighing to be a substance with a mass of about 0.5 kg), a gun in a repeated position with a bullet in the barrel and an ammunition magazine in which there are 5 bullets, 2 (two) digital scales for precise measurement, money in the amount of 2760 Euros in various denominations, 49140 KM in various denominations, three mobile phones with SIM cards, a GPS device, as well as other items that are linked to the abuse of intoxicating drugs,” the press release states.
The found materials will be the subject of the necessary expertise, after which they will be used in the further course of the procedure, as well as other evidence.
˝By order of the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense from Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs and the criminal offense from Article 358 of the same Law – Preventing an official person from performing an official act, SS was deprived of his freedom, and he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton for further information action, announced from the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, TK.
