In a traffic accident that happened on Monday around 10:20 p.m., on the M-17.1 highway in Dubrave Donje, town of Živinica, one person was killed, while two others were seriously injured. By order of the cantonal prosecutor, the driver was arrested.
As we learn, the traffic accident occurred during an attempt to save the life of a sick person whose life was threatened at that moment, during transportation to a health facility.
˝Around 10:20 p.m., on the main road M-17.1 in Dubrave Donje, town of Živinice, a traffic accident occurred in which the passenger motor vehicle “VW Touareg” driven by A.Š., born in 1987 from Živinice, crashed. The companion AM, born in 1988 from Kalesija, died, whose death was confirmed by the doctor on duty at the SHMP of the Živinice Health Center, while the companions LH, born in 1995 and MH, born in 1992, suffered serious injuries, which were confirmed by the doctor of the JZU UKC Tuzla, where they were kept for further treatment. Driver A.Š. and a passenger in the EM vehicle, born in 1999, suffered minor injuries, the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, TK announced.
The investigation at the scene of the traffic accident, which was secured by the police officers of PS Živinica, was carried out by the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton and police officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Živinica Police Administration.
By order of the cantonal prosecutor, the person A.Š. was deprived of his freedom and after documenting the traffic accident, he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton for further action. The necessary actions were taken by the police officers of the Živinica Police Department.
