One-month detention for 14 suspects was ordered by the Municipal Court in Živinice, after the attack that took place on January 24 at around 10 pm in Dubrava Gornji, near the Tuzla International Airport. The suspects are charged with the criminal offense of participating in a group of people that commits a criminal offense.
Detention was ordered for eleven citizens of the Republic of Croatia: Josip Kustura (39), Ivan Beoković (33), Tomislav Kustura (40), Alen Barunčić (22), Marko Jovanović (25), Petar Vukasović (45), Peru Vujčić (31) from Split, Marin Kristian Mikeli (24) from Trogir, Roko Kalašić (22) from Pula, Duja Penić (30) from Ploče, Ivan Vrsalović (25) from Supetar, and three citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marko Primorc (27) from Čitluk, Josip Sivrić (20) from Međugorje and Andrej Jokić (28) from Brčko (who has citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria).
Detention was ordered due to the existence of circumstances that indicate the danger of escape, as well as the danger that they could repeat or continue committing this or similar criminal acts on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They are suspected of having acted as an organized group on January 24, 2026, around 10 p.m. in the town of Dubrave Gornje near the Tuzla International Airport, which included other persons as well. They came to this location with several vehicles, waited for a group of fans of FK Crvena Zvezda, whom they knew were at a match in Sweden and would come to the airport by flight from Malmö, and when the group of fans of the mentioned club left the area of the airport, they attacked them using physical force, wooden bats, metal rods, torches and other objects, during which four people were seriously injured, including a police officer of the Živinica Police Department who came out to official intervention, and several people were slightly injured.
Strong police forces of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, from several police departments, the team of the Special Unit and the Criminal Police Sector intervened at the scene, during which the suspects were detained. Together with them, more than 70 people who were participants in this event were taken to the premises of the Police Department of the Interior Ministry of the Interior and interrogated, after which they were released.
The police officers performed the criminal investigation, and together with the report on the committed criminal offense and the accompanying material evidence, the suspects were handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office of the TK. An investigation order was issued against the suspects and they were interrogated in the premises of the Prosecutor’s Office. Investigations are ongoing.
