Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Nihad UK and Rector of the University of Sarajevo, prof. dr. Tarik Zaimović hosted the High Delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development, provided by the Executive Director of Sultan al-Marshad, with whom they visited the UNSA library.
The project of construction and equipping of the library, thanks to the Grant of the Saudi Fund, is the largest post-war investment, whose realization of the UNSA will become the owner of the building, which will also be remembered as a symbolic feature of the friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“Unfortunately, for the realization of this important project was waited for too long ago. Although the Green Light has long ago and the lack of decisions were caused by a multi-year administration, today we are proud to say the day-to-day progress. I can say that this is one of the more significant Investments, not only for Sarajevo, but also for the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina. As he added, today is the stake of interest and for future cooperation, especially in the context of the Master Plan for the development of the University Campus. This library, as he stated the Prime Minister, is only the first segment of that great project, and will discuss the opportunities for the following opportunities to implement other strategically important projects for Sarajevo Canton.
The Executive Director of the Saudi Fund for Development Sultan Al-Marshad expressed satisfaction seen during today’s site tour.
