Bosnia and Herzegovina was visited by 905,767 tourists from January to the end of October, which is an increase by 23.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
Tourists made 1,906,113 overnight stays, which is more by 27.2 percent than in ten months of 2014, data of the Agency for Statistics show.
Number of overnight stays of domestic tourists increased by 16.8 percent, and of foreign tourists by 32.8 percent.
When it comes to foreign tourists, most overnight stays were made by tourists from Croatia – 12.1 percent, followed by tourists from Serbia – 9.3 percent, Italy – 8.9 percent, Turkey – 8.6 percent, Slovenia – 5.9 percent and Poland – 5.4 percent.
In October, BiH was visited by 97,021 tourists, which is by 13 percent more comparing to the same month last year.
