The assets of the former security minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, have been legally confiscated in Montenegro.
The Special State Prosecutor’s Office of Montenegro announced that the panel of the High Court in Podgorica, by decision Kvs no. 397/25, dated December 16 of this year, rejected as unfounded the appeal filed in favor of the defendant Nešić, for the extended criminal offense of money laundering, and his wife and brother MN and PN
The appeal was rejected against the decision of the investigating judge of that court, dated March 17 this year, by which, on the proposal of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, a temporary security measure was determined in relation to their immovable property, because there is a well-founded suspicion that it was acquired through criminal activity, they report News.
“Thus, the disposal of the defendant in relation to two luxury apartments in Tivat, area 163.55 and 182.46 m2, with two garage spaces, to his wife in relation to the apartment in Budva, area 74 m2, with a garage, and to his own brother in relation to the building plot of area 1395 m2, in Buljarice, with the recording of all prohibitions in the real estate cadastre,” announced SDT.
By order of the Prosecutor’s Office, the former Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina was arrested exactly one year ago.
Nešić was then arrested along with several other people on suspicion that as managers of JP Putevi RS, they committed criminal acts of money laundering, abuse of official position…
