Isak states that he has an opinion on the protests of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia against the regime of Aleksandar Vučić, but that he will not express it publicly in order not to interfere in the internal politics of the neighboring country. Dissatisfaction of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia with the state of the country and the policies of the Aleksandar Vučić regime is an issue that should be dealt with by the authorities of the neighboring country, Isak points out.
– However, when the president of a neighboring country starts linking my country and mentions the genocide in Srebrenica in the context of the citizens’ evident dissatisfaction with his way of ruling, I am obliged to take a clear position. Aleksandar Vučić, as a politician known for his statement that 100 Bosniaks should be killed for one Serb, can only speak about Srebenica in the context of acknowledging the genocide and apologizing for the indescribable evil that his country inflicted on the Bosniak population in Srebrenica. The resistance that you personally, Aleksandar Vučić, offered to the adoption of the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica in the UN General Assembly, is resistance to historical facts and truth. And that you tend to resist the truth, that is already well known to everyone. You’re living a lie. Your regime is based on lies. You are lying about the genocide in Srebrenica, you are lying to your neighbors, you are lying to the international community, and most of all you are lying to the Serbian people who live in the Republic of Serbia – says Minister Isak.
He believes that Vučić himself is the biggest problem of the Republic of Serbia and suggests the Serbian president to understand that instead of bringing the problem into context with the UN, Bosnia and Herzegovina, world powers, genocide victims, victims’ families and the truth.
– Sweep in front of your door, and when you talk about Srebrenica, bow your head – Minister Isak said, reacting to Vučić’s statement.
