The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton filed an indictment against the former director of the University Clinical Center Tuzla Danijal Tulumović (66) and assistant nursing director in the UKC Tuzla Šefik Husić (45).
In the two points of the indictment, Tulumović are charged with two crimes of abuse of positions and powers committed to gaining. At the third point of the indictment, Husic is charged with Tulumović in the commission of the criminal offense of the abuse of positions and powers, the implementation of the Public Procurement Procedure, CT simulators and other activities for the needs of the UKC of Tuzla. The indictment was submitted to the Tuzla Cantonal Court on confirmation.
The TC Prosecution Exploratory Team and the TK Criminal Police Sector conducted an extensive and detailed investigation in the present case, during which several individual and team expert experts and the indictment included more than 800 material evidence.
Tulumović is charged in the first point in the indictment that in the period from January to April 2023. year, working as the acting director of UCC Tuzla, acted contrary to the provisions of the Law on Health Care of FBiH and other regulations. He concluded a business cooperation agreement with a private health institution in Tuzla contrary to other private health institutions, and thus enabled the cost of treatment for five of their complications, which were received in the UKC Tuzla, falling to the part of this public health institution. In this way, the private health institution has obtained the property benefit in the amount of 128,000 KM and the same amount damaged UKC Tuzla.
At the second point in the indictment, he was charged with this function, in the period from March 2023. in the opposite of the interests of BiH’s public procurement, CT simulators and other accompanying equipment for UKC Tuzla in about 8.5 million KM without VAT. There is a reasonable suspicion that Tulumović, abusing his position, has repeatedly attempted to benefit from Mostar, adapting to the technical specifications, only by this bidder, and thus delayed the proceedings, for more hundreds of oncological Patients for a longer period could not obtain the necessary treatment in the UKC Tuzla.
In the third point of indictment, Šefik Husić is charged in 2023. year, working in the proceedings in the proceedings in the Prepaid Technical Specification for devices and requested to be included as part of the tender documentation and that the members of the Commission They sign, for what they did not agree to. After that, Tulumović placed a decision on the appointment of that commission and appointed new members of the Commission, which was changed by the technical specification that favors only the company from Mostar.
