Shares on European stock markets ended today’s trading higher, primarily because traders reacted to a series of positive corporate quarterly profit reports.
The pan-European STOXX 600 rose by 0.2 percent, the DAX index of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 0.1 percent, the London FTSE 100 rose by about 0.7 percent, and the French CAC 40 remained at the level of stagnation, reports Bankar me.
Investors closely followed a series of quarterly reports from European companies, such as Saab, ENI, Sanofi, Volvo and Porsche.
