On December 24, 2025, by order of the Prosecutor’s Office of TK and the order of the Lukavac Municipal Court, members of the Criminal Police Department of the TK MUP searched the garage and car in Lukavac, which was used by the suspect Selver Smajić (39) from Živinice, when a large number of packages containing drugs in a total amount of about 14 kilograms were found and confiscated, which will be the subject of an expert examination.
The preliminary weighing determined that it is most likely 10 kilograms of the drug amphetamine and 4 kilograms of the drug Cannabis (marijuana), on which the expert will submit a report and opinion.
On December 22, the Tuzla Municipal Court ordered a one-month detention for Smajić (39) at the proposal of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Turkey, due to the existence of reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of obstructing an official in the performance of an official act in connection with the unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
After the search, the investigation was expanded.
We remind you that Smajić is also suspected of having on December 19, 2025, in the Miladije neighborhood of Tuzla, after spotting police officers in marked MUP TK vehicles with their rotating lights on, who were about to carry out the official action of controlling his vehicle and detaining him due to previously announced searches, tried to prevent the police officers from carrying out the official act of depriving him of his freedom by using force and driving dangerously. In doing so, two police officers were slightly injured, and material damage was caused to two officers and one parked vehicle. After that, the suspect was deprived of his liberty.
During the search of the vehicle used by the suspect at the time, police officers found several packages with about 560 grams of the drug amphetamine, about 150 grams of marijuana, one digital scale, a gun, a large amount of money, as well as other items that are linked to the commission of criminal acts.
