Djuric is addressing the opening ceremony of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, in the U.S. state Ohio, warned that any BiH centralization is being implemented – not only legally questioned, but also that it is potentially destabilizing.
“There are those in Europe who are committed to Unitary Bosnia, often in the creation of the ‘Functional State’. Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a monoethnic state. The only sustainable path is. Everything else is risking to undo the peace that Dayton brought,” Djuric said.
He pointed out that “Serbia will always be a reliable and loyal partner in preserving peace, opposing both separatism and forced centralization.”
The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina will, as he warned, remain complex until the black and white look at it, because there is no hero or one culprit, but there are people, memories, pain and need for mutual respect.

“If we are really committed to the future, our responsibility is that we do not deepen divisions or revive old conflicts, but to find the path to mutual understanding, permanent peace and common economic development,” Djuric said.
According to him, for “the Republic of Serbia, the Dayton Agreement remains a liability – an agreement that guarantees the constitutional order and equality of three constitutive peoples, and we continue to firmly behind it because we are convinced that lasting stability can be built only on the foundations of the common future.”
Serbia, as he added, is fully supported by the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also advocates the presence of the RS constitutional competencies, as guaranteed by the Dayton Agreement.
Minister Đurić pointed out “that we are witnessing the revision of the Dayton Agreement, and not through democratic consensus or inclusive dialogue, but through imposed decisions and attempts to undergo its constitutional structure and the letter of the original agreement.”
“We are here today to deselect the Dayton Agreement, but also to reaffirm our commitment to his principles. If we want prosperity, we must reject the illusion that it can be achieved separately, or through the audit that Dejton has carefully established.
Serbia remains solid on that road. We are dedicated to the future where the Balkans are not the zone of tensions, but the space of opportunity – based on compromise, mutual respect and sincere commitment to common progress, “said Minister Đurić.
As he explained, as he explained, the State that is expedited and strives to become a full member of the European Union, because the Balkans, in the meantime, are the new generation of young people who do not believe in the boundaries and checkpoints as the only way to prove sovereignty and territorial integrity.
