China bought a record amount of gold from Russia in November.
The largest amount ever in bilateral trade – $961 million, according to an analysis of Chinese customs data by RIA Novosti.
This is the second month in a row that shipments have been this high. In October, they amounted to 930 million dollars.
Last year, the highest value of shipments was 223 million dollars, reports SEEbiz.
In just 11 months, Russian gold imports to China reached a record $1.9 billion, nearly nine times the level of the previous year.
