The reserves of the Monetary Gold of the Central Bank of BiH have reached 3.5 tons, which is the highest level since its establishment, stated in the annual report of this bank for last year.
Foreign exchange reserves last year amounted to KM 17.6 billion, which is an increase of KM 1.36 billion compared to 2023. year.
As in the report, foreign currency reserves in the last year is a confirmation of the stability and credibility of the monetary system, the Central Bank was announced.
“The coefficient of the Currency Board increased by 108.38 percent, further strengthening the currency committee as the foundation of the Monetary Policy of BiH and the stability of the domestic currency and financial systems and preparations for access to SEPA area,” said the statement.
The Bank mentioned that the report adopted the BiH Presidency, and that in this document, the transparency and the availability of macroeconomic and financial data, as well as implemented numerous initiatives in the domain of digital transformation, financial education and international cooperation, transmits the BA indicator.
The statement stated that the annual report is the key publication of the Central Bank containing a country of macroeconomic trends in the country throughout the year, the Bank’s business report, and the financial report certified by an independent external auditor.
The report provides a comprehensive overview of the Bank’s activities during the previous year, with a special emphasis on the preservation of monetary stability, strengthening foreign exchange reserves and the improvement of institutional efficiency.
