Police officers of the MUP Police Directorate of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the KS Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, carried out an operational action in which they detained two persons, initials FP and AH, on Saturday at 8:30 p.m., on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of attempted murder.
As announced by the KS MUP, the suspects are accused of having used a firearm from a moving vehicle at 12:35 a.m. on the same day, in the area of Kobilje Glava, towards a VD from Sarajevo, who was driving a motor vehicle. The victim was not injured on that occasion.
Weapons, explosives and drugs found
During the search of vehicles and residential premises used by the suspects in the area of Stari Grad, police officers found and confiscated an automatic rifle, a pistol, two detonators, a certain amount of ammunition, as well as several PVC packages with substances associated with the narcotic drugs heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Crushers, a digital scale and other items of interest to the investigation were also found.
More crimes against the suspects
FP (1998) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty due to the suspicion of having committed criminal acts of attempted murder, damage to other people’s property, illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials, and unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.
AH (2001) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal acts of attempted murder, damage to other people’s property, and the criminal offense under Article 74 of the ZONDINOM of Sarajevo Canton.
The suspects are currently undergoing criminal processing at the Police Department of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, after which they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office.
