The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against 11 persons, four of whom are authorized officials – policemen of the Border Police of BiH and three authorized customs officials of the Administration for Indirect Taxation of BiH.
The accused are:
1. Šarić Sejdin, born in 1975 in Zenica, citizen of BiH
2. Mitrović Bojan, born in 1979 in Zenica, employed as a customs officer in the Customs Administration of BiH, citizen of BiH
3. Plotan Darija, known as Dara, born in 1978 in Feldkirch, Austria, employed as a customs officer in the UIOBiH, citizen of BiH
4. Novaković Dragana, known as Daćka, born in 1971 in Bosanski Novi, employed as a customs officer in the Customs Administration of BiH, citizen of BiH
5. Tihak Sead, born in 1973 in Gornji Vakuf, employed in the Border Police of BiH, citizen of BiH
6. Nikolić Mladen, aka Zenga, born in 1972 in Slavonski Brod, employed in the Border Police of BiH, citizen of BiH
7. Mehinagić Elvir, born in 1979 in Prnjavor, employed in the Border Police of BiH, citizen of BiH
8. Dukić Tedo, born in 1984 in Banja Luka, employed in the Border Police of BiH, citizen of BiH and Serbia
9. Stokić Igor, born in 1990 in Doboj, citizen of BiH and Republic of Croatia
10. Mahir Haračić, born in 1975 in Kakanj, citizen of BiH
11. Armin Šarić, born in 2001 in Zenica, citizen of BiH
The aforementioned defendants are charged with the fact that during the year 2024, most of the defendants joined together to form a group of people for the purpose of committing criminal acts, which were committed in such a way that the defendants, who are engaged in importing large quantities of various goods from the territory of Germany, at the border crossings of Bosanska Dubica and Bosanska Kostajnica, gave gifts in money or other gifts to the employees of the customs authorities and the Border Police, in order to import large quantities of goods into the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina without adequate control.
The defendants are accused of having committed criminal acts of conspiracy to commit criminal acts, giving and receiving gifts and other forms of benefit, and illegal trade.
The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation, announced the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
